Little Explorers Staffing and Organisation
We pride ourselves in Early Years with upholding a very secure and tightly run team. Every member of staff genuinely enjoys coming to school each day and it is clear when you are with us that the children are the most important thing to us all.
We know our children inside and out and they get to know us very well as well!
All children with have a key worker whilst with us. This member of staff is in charge of that child's academic achievements as well as their general wellbeing. This doesn't mean we ignore the other children, it just means that every child with have that special adult to send time with in the day.
Mrs Lauren Davies
I am your Early Years Lead and I also teach the Reception class.
I oversee Phonics, Literacy and PSHE for the department.
Miss Sophie Mursell
I am the Nursery Teacher and a key worker.
I am in charge of outdoor learning, Physical development and Understanding the world in our department.
Mrs Helen Humphreys
I am a teaching assistant in Little Explorers and a key worker in the Reception class. I am in charge of Numeracy, Expressive arts and design and interventions for phonics.
I also run a wellbeing group.
Mrs Rachael Rowlands
I am a teaching assistant in Little Explorers and I am a key worker to a small mixed age group. I specialise in teaching SEND children and communication and language skills.
Miss Shannon Davies
I am a teaching assistant in Little Explorers and I work across both year groups.
I also teach Jigsaw (pshe) for the reception class.
