Admissions to Lache Primary School
We are very pleased that you may be considering a place for your child at our wonderful school.
We have an incredible Nursery. Children in Little Explorers Nursery are very much part of the school family. They attend assemblies and special events, and dine in the school hall with the other pupils. We provide a pre-school education in a calm, fun and friendly environment. We think carefully about what will inspire our youngest children and plan lots of great activities in line with their interests. The natural curiosity of the Nursery class is built on so that we can promote a wide range of skills, especially children’s social and emotional skills.
Parents are advised to apply for their Nursery place for their child as soon as possible by completing a form available from the school office. Children start their free entitlement of 15 hours or 30 hours from the term after their 3rd birthday. Parents can also pay for additional sessions from this point. Please ask if you need longer sessions of child care as children can stay and have lunch in the Nursery if full day sessions are required.
From Reception upwards...
We currently have a Pupil Admission Number of 30. This means that we can accept up to 30 pupils in any year group before we are full in that year group.
We are normally unable to take children beyond this number, but can do in some exceptional circumstances. Please contact the school directly to see if there is a place available in the year group you wish to apply for.
Once you are sure you want to apply for a place and you have confirmed one is available, you will need to complete an online application with Cheshire West and Chester. We are unable to take any applications over the phone or in person as they are controlled by the Local Authority.

If you are completing an in year transfer, the school will be notified of your application and, if there is room within the year group, you and your child (children) will be invited in to see the Headteacher and the school.
