Throughout the school year children have taken part in cross country club and keenly taken part in cross country events, usually on a Saturday morning.  All of the children have tested themselves and enjoyed the great atmosphere and changeable weather at each event.

Our early morning judo club has been a fantastic success with children showing great commitment and arriving promptly for each session.  The children have developed many new skills and have been encouraged to work in pairs.  It was great to see so many family members come along to support and take part alongside the children in the demonstration session at the end of the course.

The children are now very excited about our newest club, fencing.  Again this is running before school and the demand for places was exceptional.

Our tag rugby team trained well in lessons and at the after school club.  Children developed a very good understanding of the game and it was great to see them begin to coach each other.  We were able to field 2 teams at the tag rugby tournament.  Again, the children were tested against good quality opposition, both teams doing themselves proud.

The Santa Dash is always a highlight of our school year.  Children from nursery up to Year 6 participated keenly.  The weather was ideal and following the run children and family members enjoyed hot chocolate and marshmallows in The Willows.  Children made a voluntary donation to take part in the run and once again Chester Aid To The Homeless were very grateful for the £60 donation raised by Lache Primary School.

The mixed ability team thoroughly enjoyed the water polo tournament.  Some fantastic performances against good opposition and the team finished joint first.  All of the children challenged themselves.
